When someone dear to you has passed,
their memory should never fade.
A memorial will keep their spirit alive forever.
Haskell Monument Works has been involved in some aspect of the Stone Industry in the United States since 1921. We also have roots in the European Stone Industry that date back to 1879.

Haskell Monument Works is a customer oriented family business whose primary objective is to provide our clients with quality memorial products and services at reasonable prices. We have a showroom in the Village of Victor, NY and an office in Honeoye, NY.
Our monument company was founded in 1879 by Jacob Hasklowicz in Poland as shown on the letterhead. His son, Benjamin Haskell, who changed his name to hide his Jewish heritage, immigrated from Poland to the United States in 1921. In 1923, he restarted and managed his own retail monument business, which employed stonecutters, stone carvers, engravers, and stone setters who he personally trained. Benjamin Haskell was a genius, an inventor, and a wonderful grandfather. He passed away in his 50s in 1963.
Benjamin's son, Irving Haskell, took over the business, which was located in Bronx, NY. He was successful at maintaining a good balance in life between work and play. He even flew his own plane between his residences in New York and Florida. He died in 1986 at the age of 59.
We, the fourth generation, continue as specialists by putting our customers' needs ahead of the profit motive.
Dennis Del Conte is the Vice President of Haskell Monument Works and has brought with him a background in business management and manufacturing engineering experience. His main responsibilities have been setting stones, maintaining equipment, and sales. Dennis is a genius and adds a more traditional touch
when assisting customers with designing
their memorials.
Karen Haskell brought her father's business back to life at the turn of the century and reestablished it in Victor, NY where she has been President of the company ever since. She has a background in mental health counseling and art. Karen is the master of layout and design where she brings her creativity in designing monuments with a contemporary flair.
